Ruijie WiFi 7 Pro Installation – Frome, Somerset

This four‑level property in Frome had a familiar problem: very thick walls, an extension on the rear, and powerline adaptors struggling to deliver stable WiFi. The client was experiencing slow speeds, drop‑outs and inconsistent coverage throughout the home.

After a full site survey, our recommendation was a hybrid approach:

  • Hard‑wire two Ruijie WiFi 7 Pro access points (ground floor router location + Level 1 office)
  • Use mesh technology for the cellar, where cabling initially looked impossible
  • Reassess any existing cabling to see if it could be reused

Finding a Better Solution on the Day

During installation we traced one of the existing Cat6 cables that nobody knew the destination of. After careful routing — avoiding water pipes and hidden obstacles — we managed to bring this cable down into the cellar cleaning cupboard, the perfect location to cover both the cellar room and the rear extension.

This meant the client received something far better than expected:

A fully hard‑wired Ruijie WiFi 7 Pro system

Hard‑wired access points always deliver the best results, and this property now has:

  • Full‑speed coverage across all four levels
  • Stable, reliable WiFi in the cellar and extension
  • No more powerline adaptors
  • A clean, cloud‑managed Ruijie network with long‑term stability

Result

A fast, stable, modern WiFi 7 system throughout the entire property — exactly how it should be.
