This property in Kington St Michael needed a fast, reliable broadband solution that could support multiple buildings and large outdoor areas. Starlink was the perfect choice — paired with a professionally installed Ruijie network and Unifi WiFi system to deliver full coverage across the entire site.

Discreet Starlink Installation

We mounted the Starlink dish discreetly on the rear of an outbuilding, keeping it out of sight while maintaining a clear view of the sky. Inside the same building, we installed a 10” Soho data cabinet to house:

• The Starlink modem
• A Ruijie RG‑EG406XS‑P PoE Gateway Router

Linking the Outbuilding & Main House

The property already had armoured data cabling between the potting shed and the main house. We integrated this into the new network, feeding into a second cabinet containing:

• Network switches
• CCTV equipment
• Structured cabling for the rest of the property

Full WiFi Coverage – Indoors & Outdoors

To ensure seamless coverage across the entire site, we installed:

• 6 x Ruijie U7 access points hidden throughout the property
• 2 x external U6 access points covering the patio and outdoor seating areas

The result is a fast, stable, fully managed WiFi system with complete coverage across all buildings and outdoor spaces — all powered by Starlink and controlled through the Ruijie cloud &  Unifi Cloud
